FAQs

What can I expect to experience in an AM in Canada church?

Authentic, growing relationships with Jesus and one another that lead us to reach out in love to our neighbors. AM in Canada churches emphasize discipleship (getting to know and follow Jesus in a deeper way daily) and mission (reaching out to others who don’t yet know and follow Jesus), so you are sure to be encouraged, equipped and empowered as a disciple of Jesus personally, and as a church family.

What can I expect to experience in an AM in Canada worship service?

Our worship services are quite eclectic in their styles, from an informal and free flowing service to those where robes and formal liturgy are the norm to churches that meet in homes and restaurants. In some the music is very contemporary, in others more traditional, and in most a blend of both. Whatever your preference you will find engaging & responsive worship, solid biblical teaching, loving relationships and a challenge to live as a follower of Jesus at home, work, school and the wider communities we live in.

What is the difference between theAM in Canada and the Anglican Coalition in Canada (ACiC)?

The Anglican Coalition in Canada was the name for our mission for many years. In November 2014 our name was legally changed to The Anglican Mission in Canada, chosen to reflect our mission focus in Canada and to recognize our connection to The Anglican Mission in the Americas (often referred to as The Mission).
